FuturU to unveil new AI innovation for its disruptive health and social care training platform

by Lisa Carr

FuturU, a learning technology innovator disrupting health and social care education with freely-accessible and immersive training, is set to preview its new moving, handling and assessment tool at Care Show Birmingham on 11th and 12th October.

AI and technology can offer the opportunity to do things differently, but only if it can deliver a consistent and scalable learning and development experience. The new moving, handling and assessment tool created by FuturU utilises AI to enable training and assessment programmes to be delivered through readily available technology, such as a mobile phone or simple webcam and laptop. Training and assessment can be taken multiple times throughout the year in a work environment, resulting in reduced costs and an increase in the quality of training. It also amounts to a reduction in time being taken out of work to undertake the training initiatives, meaning those in the profession can spend more time on the front line with patients and those in need of care.

Building on decades of digital education experience among its founders and staff, FuturU is an organisation that is reimagining learning in the health and social care sector, providing deeply engaging content that delivers tangible results for learners, managers, health trusts and care providers. It is on a mission to make healthcare education universally available for free, providing a high-quality learning experience and accurate assessments aligned with real-world, practical training needs and pressures.

More flexible and consistent than traditional eLearning technologies, FuturU helps reduce the significant problem of employee churn in health and social care, empowering those within the sector to take charge of their development. By providing experiential learning with data-insights that deliver accurate assessments of achievements and fully CPD-accredited results, FuturU helps health and social care organisations ensure they have the right people in the right jobs at the right time with the right training.

A fast-growing company, FuturU is already training 60,000 care professionals across more than 20 countries and is on course to provide its millionth training session before the end of 2023, reducing the cost of training while increasing its quality.

“There is an urgent need for flexible, immersive and fully accredited training that meets the needs of current and aspiring healthcare professionals as they seek to build careers within a sector that has serious workforce difficulties,” said Michael Manuccia. “Our growing user base around the globe is testimony to how an innovative, people-centred approach to learning, combined with our own cutting-edge technology, is positively disrupting health and social care education.”

The show is the UK’s leading social care event, offering a 360-degree view of the sector with CPD-accredited educational sessions led by experts.
