RWK Goodman has advised Chalcraft Hall Ltd and Normanton Lodge Care Ltd on their purchase of Bognor Regis care homes Chalcraft Hall and Normanton Lodge.
The two care homes have been purchased by husband-and-wife team care home operators Selva and Nikki Arjuna, who already own Hooklands Care Home in nearby Bracklesham Bay, and are poised to bring their expertise to these outstanding facilities. Chalcraft Hall, with capacity for 20 residents, and Normanton Lodge, registered for 26 residents, both boast “good” ratings from the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
The RWK Goodman Health and Social Care team was led by Partner Hazel Phillips, supported by Yasmine Qasim (Corporate), Gemma Hart (Real Estate) and Chris Amys (Employment).
Hazel Phillips, Head of Health and Social Care at RWK Goodman, comments: “We are proud to have facilitated this significant dual acquisition for our clients, Selva and Nikki Arjuna. It’s an exciting opportunity for them to continue their commitment to exceptional care in these well-run homes.”
Nikki Arjuna, the buyer, comments: “The RWK team have been instrumental in our purchase of these two well-presented, well-run care homes. It was great to work with such a professional team, providing invaluable advice and guidance throughout the process. The homes will tie in well with our current care home, Hooklands, which we have owned since 2016. Being so close, it seemed a good idea to purchase both at the same time and we are excited about the new opportunities they offer.”
Business property advisor Christie & Co facilitated the sales. Christie Finance arranged the financing via Cynergy Bank.
