Europe’s largest live-in care provider, Promedica24, has announced an expansion of its support offering. The company will now be serving more areas across Yorkshire South, West and The Humber, bringing flexible live-in care options to over 1 million people living within the new territories.
The latest expansion comes after another successful year, which saw Promedica24 launch a new Apprenticeship Programme in Adult Care providing comprehensive training opportunities for front-line staff. Promedica24 has also introduced a new digitalisation initiative to become more sustainable and transition operations to a paperless system.
The new regional franchise branch will be led by Lina Soura and it will provide much needed flexible live-in care options to local residents. The expansion will allow Promedica24 to help more people maintain their independence and remain in the comfort of their own home through a wide range of care packages.
From 24/7 live-in support to day-care and part-time care, Promedica24 offers bespoke 1-2-1 care designed to suit individual needs and various daily routines, by enabling people to receive extra help when it is most needed. Promedica24’s care plans are also designed with continuity of care as a top priority to ensure that those receiving care are seeing the same face on every visit and can get to know their carer.
Lina brings to Promedica24 a background in higher and further education, having closely worked to support academic research by engaging with local councils and the NHS to improve local service provision. Lina also has experience in compliance and safeguarding, having worked in collaboration with local authorities to manage the care of international students hosted by families in the UK.
Promedica24 regularly undertakes charity initiatives in local areas, a legacy which Lina is already building on. She regularly volunteers for a number of local organisations and community service projects, and has recently worked with Age UK to deliver Christmas parcels to the elderly.
Since its successful launch in the UK in 2014, Promedica24 has gone from strength to strength and has supported over 33,000 families in over 130 locations across the UK and Europe.
Lina Soura, Regional Partner for Promedica24 in Yorkshire South, West and The Humber commented:
“I am very excited to embark on this journey with Promedica24 in Yorkshire South, West and The Humber. I believe in the transformative power of in-home care, not only for the elderly but for all adults, and I am looking forward to facilitating access to Promedica24’s professional, responsive, and kind carers.
“Through our flexible care options, I am confident that we can help people live independent and dignified lives within the comfort of their own home where they are most happy and comfortable. I am looking forward to championing care choices for the local community, giving people the opportunity to age gracefully at home and maintain their independence.”
Grzegorz Wrzosek, Country Manager at Promedica24, said:
“Our bespoke, in-home packages are a valuable and much needed option for families looking for support for their loved ones and we are delighted to be able to reach even more people.
“Live-in care can be hugely empowering, enabling people to stay in their own home and communities, as independently as possible but with additional support where they need it. We’re looking forward to building connections with residents in the Yorkshire region and matching them with our dedicated carers who can support their needs.”
