Florence announces partnership with Care England to help support continuity of care

by Kirsty Kirsty

Florence, the care staffing app, is thrilled to announce a partnership with Care England, the leading representative body for care providers in England.

Florence is working with Care England to help its members of all sizes, from single-site nursing homes to national care groups, improve their continuity of care. We will share thought leadership, webinars and a Florence Academy training module to offer practical guidelines on maintaining and optimising residents’ continuity of care.

With Florence, care providers can input their shifts in the Florence app and see them fill in real time with their permanent team members first and fully compliant temps second. Florence invites staff and confirms their shifts, removing the need to chase employees and agencies by phone or build rotas from scratch.

With 45% of care providers saying the amount of time they spend on admin tasks impacts care and 43% calling out rota scheduling as their most time-consuming weekly admin*, Florence helps ease the burden and frees up more time for care.

Our partnership supports Care England’s mission to help providers deliver the high-quality care communities require and deserve.

Professor Martin Green OBE, Chief Executive of Care England, says:

“Securing the right staff is one of the biggest challenges for the care sector and Care England is pleased to be working in partnership with Florence because the service they provide will help care providers to efficiently manage their staffing requirements and maintain the continuity and quality of care.”

Dr. Charles Armitage, CEO and co-founder of Florence, says:

“Florence is proud to collaborate with Care England to help care providers simplify and improve their staffing. Our goal is to help members fill shifts with people they trust in a few button-taps, helping them build and maintain an engaged, high-performing team. We believe this partnership will support the industry in embracing technology to help everyone deliver better care.”
