Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co, has announced the sale of Belmont House in Rhyl, Northeast Wales.
Belmont House is an established business that is registered with the CQC to provide EMI residential care to up to 12 service users. It occupies a well-presented, converted property that is located on a residential street close to Rhyl town centre. The home has been owned by Mr Rajana and Mrs Jamayantee Boyrangee since 2007 and was brought to market to allow them to finally secure retirement after 20 years in the sector. Following a confidential sales process with James Knight at Christie & Co and with funding sourced through Alena Ray at Christie Finance, it has been purchased by Ashok Ramchandra of ARA Care Services – a highly esteemed, award-winning operator from North Wales. James Knight, Associate Director – Care at Christie & Co, comments, “I’m delighted to announce the sale of Belmont House in Rhyl on behalf of our longstanding clients. I have worked with Krishna for a number of years, having sold their first home back in 2020. I wish them the very best in retirement. Congratulations, also, to the new owner, Ashok, an award-winning care operator in North Wales. I have no doubt that you will take Belmont under your wing and turn it into one of the best homes in the region.” Alena Ray, Associate Director at Christie Finance, comments, “It was a pleasure assisting Ashok and Rajeev in the acquisition of Belmont House. I am confident that they will be extremely successful in further developing Belmont House and I look forward to assisting them on their next acquisition. Access to challenger banks in addition to traditional high street banks has opened further funding avenues in the care sector for clients and my main objective is to tick as many boxes as possible on the client’s wish list to ensure they are extremely satisfied with the outcome.” Belmont House was sold for an undisclosed price.
