Following the appointment of a new Director of Care Operations, London’s latest luxury home care service has continued its expansion – with a cohort of new team members joining to further enhance its offering.
Vivant, which officially launched in January, is centred on providing discreet and tailored care support focused on enabling its clients to continue living their life to the full.
With word of its services spreading, the high-end provider has seen increased care enquiries – and its plans for team expansion have been accelerated as a result.
This has led to an additional eight experienced Personal Assistants recently joining the team, who, between them, have wide-ranging experiences and backgrounds to cater to Vivant’s diverse and unique client base. The latest arrivals include a former English teacher, science PHD, yoga teacher, musician and paramedic, as well as nurses.
Vivant is built on a model that empowers clients to select their own Personal Assistants, with a recruitment strategy that is tailored to suit individual preferences. For instance, one example includes a client who requested carers with an Australian background – and subsequently two of the latest cohort are Australian nurses.
Bucking the trend of the wider care industry, Vivant has encountered keen interest in its job listings. Offering a variety of contracts, including bank contracts, part-time contracts and permanent contracts to deliver flexibility and continuity, Vivant’s recruitment strategy is centred on everyone living well – both staff and clients – with work-life balance prioritised to ensure staff bring their best to work.
Commenting on the new team members, Louise Blezzard, CEO and Founder of Vivant, said: “We’ve managed to recruit some wonderful individuals who have a depth of experience that isn’t unique to care. With our clients able to choose their own care teams and with a big emphasis on companionship, having a broad mix of life experiences to tap into really helps to personalise and elevate the care we offer. We’re delighted to have recruited such a diverse group and they really are a fantastic bunch. We’ve had a thoroughly enjoyable onboarding period and I’m looking forward to seeing them interact and bond with our clients as we move forward.”
The onboarding process at Vivant is fully mapped out, with individual days themed around the company’s values and ethos – but designed with an engaging twist. An example from the latest cohort saw them enjoy a day based on the movie The Greatest Showman. With the main messages in the movie centred on being yourself and celebrating everyone’s differences, the training team at Vivant created a circus theme – including bunting, popcorn and paper circus animals.
Since joining Vivant last month, Kelly Morris, the new Director of Care Operations has been working closely with Louise to create an authentic approach that’s rooted in their shared vision. Commenting on the new starters and the onboarding process, Kelly added: “We want to ensure the people who join Vivant fully understand what we’re trying to achieve. Our client base is unique and so is our approach to care – so we look to reflect that in our training. Doing things differently, while full of enthusiasm, is what we’re about, and our new starters embody that.”
Vivant’s offering incorporates an exclusive concierge service, personalised, tailored care support, companionship and more. As a home care provider, it’s committed to meeting the diverse needs of its clientele in a way that matters to them, with comfort, dignity, independence and autonomy at the heart of its offering.
Vivant is set to redefine the landscape of home care services in London, combining a luxury approach with personalised care to create a unique and unparalleled experience.
