New owners for ‘Good’ rated family-run care home in Eastbourne

Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co, has announced the sale of Beeches Retirement Hotel in Eastbourne, East Sussex.

Beeches Retirement Hotel is a family-run care home near Eastbourne town centre that is rated “Good” by the CQC and occupies a 20-bedroom, three-storey Victorian property with attractive gardens.

The business was previously owned by the Sinclair family for over 20 years and was brought to market as they were looking to retire from the sector.

Following a confidential sales process with John Harrison at Christie & Co, and with funding sourced through Neil Collins at Christie Finance, it has been purchased by the Panadaya family who already work in the sector and live locally.

John Harrison, Director – Healthcare at Christie & Co, comments, “I am delighted to have completed the sale of Beeches Retirement Hotel on behalf of the Sinclair family using a confidential marketing campaign and a funding solution provided by Christie Finance. This profitable business has a well-established reputation which I am sure the Pandaya family will continue to operate successfully using their experience in the care sector and local knowledge. This is my fourth care home completion already in 2024, and we have a good buyer list for other similar businesses.”

Beeches Retirement Hotel was sold for an undisclosed price.
