Rylands Nursing and Residential Care Home is a ‘Good’ rated business registered to care for up to 44 residents. It occupies an impressive converted and extended, three-storey, nineteenth-century building with 39 bedrooms including two companion rooms. The home is located in the attractive, leafy Shropshire town of Newport.
The business has been under the same ownership since 2005 and was brought to market as a retirement sale.
Following a confidential sales process with Paul Reilly at Christie & Co, it has been purchased by specialist care recruitment company, Frontline. This is the business’s first care home acquisition.
Thomas Thompson, Director at Frontline, comments, “We are thrilled to have completed the purchase of Rylands Nursing and Residential Care Home. With some exciting plans in mind to expand and improve the business, we believe there is great growth potential and are eager to explore new opportunities at the home.”
Paul Reilly, Director – Healthcare at Christie & Co, comments, “This sale represents continued demand and activity throughout the West Midlands and shows how investment in healthcare is still providing good returns. We wish the new owners every success in their new venture.”
Rylands Nursing and Residential Care Home was sold for an undisclosed figure.
