by Kirsty Kirsty

The Care Workers’ Charity exists to support care workers and to advocate for the social care
workforce.
There are almost 2 million care workers in the UK who care for the most vulnerable members of our
society.
The Care Workers’ Charity is pleased to announce the release of its 2023 Impact Report. This
comprehensive report highlights the charity’s achievements and milestones over the past year.
The 2023 Impact Report showcases our dedication to providing immediate financial aid through crisis
grants and offering vital mental health support. The third pillar of our work is advocating for fair
treatment and pay as well as recognition of care workers as a skilled workforce. With over £5.9
million granted to more than 10,700 care workers, 500+ individuals benefiting from mental health
initiatives, and active engagement in advocacy efforts, we’re at the forefront of ensuring care workers
receive the support they deserve.
Key Highlights from the 2023 Impact Report Include:
2820 care workers supported
Diversified funding efforts raising over £1.6 million
Growing advocacy work ensuring care workers perspectives are heard
“We are proud to present our 2023 Impact Report, which reflects our ongoing commitment to care
workers across the UK,” said Karolina Gerlich, CEO at The Care Workers’ Charity. “Over the past
year, we have grown partnership and initiatives aimed at supporting and uplifting care workers and
look forward to building on this”
In addition to highlighting the company’s achievements and impact, the 2023 Impact Report also
provides insights into our plans for 2024.
