AgeCare are joining The Care Workers’ Charity (CWC) as a Supporter Member and are helping to raise awareness of the support offered by the charity. The support given will widen the reach of CWC and will ensure more care workers in need can receive support.

Dr Vishen Ramkisson, CEO of AgeCare UK says, “AgeCare are delighted to be able to support The Care Workers Charity on behalf of all the dedicated staff who support residents in AgeCare care homes. We understand and empathise with the challenges faced by many care home workers amidst the current financial climate. By partnering with the Care Workers Charity and strengthening the assistance available to those in need, we are enabling people in need to gain access to grants that can help them. We look forward to joining The Care Workers Charity in future fundraising events.”

Karolina Gerlich, CEO of the CWC says ‘We are very grateful that AgeCare has decided to support the CWC by becoming a Supporter Member. By supporting us in this way they are supporting the social care workforce and showing their admiration of the amazing work achieved in social care.”

There are almost 2 million care workers in the UK who care for the most vulnerable members of our society. The Care Workers’ Charity is a national charity that supports people working in social care in the UK with financial and mental health support.

The Care Workers’ Charity aims to ensure the social care workforce is supported so that the best level of care is given to service users.
