The Care Workers’ Charity is pleased to announce the appointment of Lisa Delaney as the new Deputy Chair, effective June 2024.
With over 12 years of experience in the care sector, Lisa has held various leadership roles in recruitment, hospitality, and procurement. Currently serving as the UK Country Manager for Sensio, she assists care providers in their digital transformation through the implementation of advanced passive monitoring systems.
Lisa has demonstrated a strong commitment to The Care Workers’ Charity over the past four years as a Board Trustee. She has actively participated in fundraising events, completing the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge twice, hiking across the South Downs, and is set to run the Royal Parks Half Marathon in October for the charity.
In her new role, Lisa will collaborate closely with Chair Martin Jones and other Board Trustees to provide strategic direction to the charity, setting policy and operational targets.
Expressing her enthusiasm, Lisa said, “I am absolutely delighted to step into the Deputy Chair role and look forward to working closely with our Chair Martin Jones to ensure The Care Workers’ Charity continues to grow stronger, ensuring the voice of the care worker is always heard.”
