Venelle marks two years with senior appointment to drive next stage of growth

Luxury home care provider Venelle has appointed Annette Naughton as Director of Partnerships, strengthening its senior team as the business enters its third year of operation and prepares for a significant period of growth.

The appointment comes as Venelle marks two years since launch, during which time the company has built a strong reputation for delivering highly personalised, discreet care to clients across London and the Home Counties, while establishing itself as a trusted voice within the wider health and care sector.

In her new role, Annette will be responsible for developing and nurturing Venelle’s professional referral network, working closely with consultants, GPs, hospital teams and specialist referrers. Her focus will be on building long-term, trusted relationships with medical professionals, ensuring a clear understanding of how Venelle’s bespoke home care and concierge-led model can support patients beyond traditional clinical settings.

Annette brings extensive experience spanning private healthcare, senior living, rehabilitation and post-operative care. She has held senior business development and leadership roles within high-end care environments, working at the intersection of clinical excellence, hospitality and personalised service. Most recently, she worked alongside Venelle Founder and CEO Louise Blezzard at Loveday, where they collaborated closely on medical partnerships and service development, contributing to Loveday Kensington achieving an ‘Outstanding’ rating in four out of five CQC domains, under Louise’s leadership as registered manager.

Reflecting on her appointment, Annette Naughton said: “Venelle represents a very special approach to care – one that places trust, discretion and genuine human understanding at its core. My role is not about traditional sales, but about connection: taking the time to understand clinicians’ priorities, the realities facing families, and ensuring that when a referral is made, it is done with absolute confidence.

“Having worked closely with Louise before, I know the integrity and standards she brings to everything she does. I’m excited to be part of Venelle at this stage of its journey, helping to build thoughtful, credible partnerships that support patients in a truly personalised way.”

Founded in January 2023, Venelle has experienced steady and considered growth over its first two years, expanding into new areas, strengthening its clinical leadership and gaining national media recognition for its perspective on high-end, person-centred care. The business has also continued to invest in its leadership team, nursing expertise and concierge offering, while maintaining a deliberately selective approach to growth.

Louise Blezzard, Founder and CEO of Venelle, said: “As we mark two years of Venelle, Annette’s appointment feels both timely and deeply aligned with our values. We have worked together before and achieved exceptional results, grounded in trust, professionalism and a shared belief in doing things properly.

“Annette understands the medical landscape instinctively and brings a rare combination of strategic insight and emotional intelligence. As Venelle enters its next phase, her role will be pivotal in strengthening our relationships with clinicians and ensuring that our growth never compromises the quality, discretion and personal approach that define us.”

With a strong foundation now in place, Venelle enters its third year with a number of exciting developments planned, as it continues to evolve its offering and extend its professional network.
