Care sector software innovator Log My Care has chosen national disability charity Shaftesbury as its Charity of the Year for 2026 – launching a powerful new partnership ‘Proud to Care Together’.

The partnership brings together two organisations committed to transforming the lives of people with disabilities across the UK. Through fundraising and volunteering, Log My Care will support Shaftesbury’s work with more than 4,000 people with disabilities every year.

Log My Care founder and CEO Sam Hussain said: “Log my Care we work closely with care providers navigating both the obstacles, and the rewards of working in disability support every day. We are proud to partner with Shaftesbury in 2026, and for our team to support their vital fundraising efforts.”

Shaftesbury CEO Sally Chivers said: “We have used Log My Care since 2018, and it has been transformational for the whole charity. It is straightforward for our frontline teams to use and crucially it helps free up time so staff can do more with the people we support.  We will always have humans providing enabling care, education and therapy for the 4,000 people we support every year. Caring is utterly human and this technology support us to do that.”

“We’re delighted that Log My Care has chosen to support Shaftesbury this year and we’re looking forward to welcoming their team into our services.”

The partnership launches in April, when Log My Care’s Account Executive Josh takes on 26.2 miles in the London Marathon to raise vital funds for Shaftesbury.

Throughout the year, Log my Care staff will also volunteer at Shaftesbury services and take on other fundraising challenges.
