Jubilee Heights, located on Irwell Street, is a new care home being developed by Exemplar Health Care and is expected to open later this year.
The care home will support up to 40 adults living with complex needs to build their independence, stay close to family and friends and work towards personal goals with the support of expert nurse-led care.
As recruitment gets underway, Exemplar Health Care is looking to fill a range of roles, including Registered Nurses, Health Care Assistants, Activities Coordinators, Administrators, Catering, Maintenance, and Housekeeping colleagues.
Jubilee Heights will be Exemplar Health Care’s seventh home in Greater Manchester and is expected to create around 100 employment opportunities when fully operational.
The purpose-built home has been constructed on the site of the former Bury Police Headquarters, which was vacated in 2010 and demolished in 2016. Construction began in October 2024 and the development includes large communal areas, activity and therapy spaces, and accessible outdoor garden spaces.
The home has been designed to provide a supportive and homely environment where people can build their independence and work towards personal goals with the support of a skilled multidisciplinary team.
Jess Taylor, Home Manager at Jubilee Heights, said:
“We’re excited to begin recruiting for Jubilee Heights and to welcome new colleagues to the team as we prepare to open our doors.
“Jubilee Heights will not only expand access to expert nurse-led care in Greater Manchester but also create rewarding career opportunities for people who want to make a genuine difference every day.”
Exemplar Health Care offers a range of learning and development opportunities, helping colleagues build long-term careers in health and social care.
