Voyage Care, a leading specialist health and social care provider, is launching their very own podcast – Voyage Care Voice. The podcast has been formed to facilitate important discussions about topics impacting the sector, such as quality and person-centred care.
After seeing success from their first pilot season earlier this year, the provider is taking on even more important topics, which are discussed in a conversational manner with industry experts and those working in relevant roles. The free podcast aims to share real insights from real people in health and social care.
Having covered person-centred care in the pilot season, season two tackles quality in the sector. Launching at the beginning of October, each weekly episode will be released on a Wednesday – perfect for a lunchtime listen with a cup of tea.
Over the course of 11 bitesize episodes, each up to 20 minutes long, topics covered will include what quality care is, how the pandemic has impacted this, inspections and, of course, improving outcomes for vulnerable people.
Guests on the podcast include service managers, support workers, a family member and more. It will also feature a speaker from the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
Amanda Griffiths, Director of Quality at Voyage Care, commented, ‘We are looking forward to the release of the second season of our podcast. It’s never been more important to discuss issues affecting those in sector.
‘We had a brilliant response to our first season, which achieved over 1,400 listens, so we’ve made sure this season is even bigger and better. I hope listeners will enjoy hearing the discussions as much as we enjoyed having them!’
