Live-in care company searching for compassionate people to pursue a career in care

by Lisa Carr

The live-in care company has launched a nationwide recruitment campaign and is looking for people seeking a rewarding and fulfilling career to join its team. Promedica24 has opportunities for people with or without experience in care, offering a highly competitive salary, a variety of staff discounts and benefits, health and wellbeing support, and award-winning training and development opportunities.

Successful applicants will be providing personalised support and companionship, enabling people to live safe, independent and happy lives in the comfort of their own homes. A typical day for a live-in carer may include supporting people with meal preparation and chores around the home, providing personal care and companionship, and encouraging people to pursue their hobbies and interests.

Carers could be providing one-to-one care, working alongside an additional carer, or supporting couples to live independently at home. All staff have their own personal support managers and regular visits from the care management team to ensure they are fully supported in their roles.

The company offers a market-leading salary with carers earning up to £3200 per month depending on experience and the level of support provided. On top of this, carers will receive ample opportunity to develop their skills and experience with access to award-winning training, online learning resources and career development pathways.

In addition to seeking applications from people with backgrounds in care, Promedica24 is encouraging people already working in customer-facing roles, such as hospitality and retail, to consider a move to social care.

Tina Benson, Registered Care Manager at Promedica24, said:

“The qualities and experience you gain working in the retail and hospitality industries are extremely valuable for a career in care. Good communication skills and being polite and friendly are essential for the role.

“A role in care, however, will provide you with something more. It’s a hugely rewarding career where you can make a difference every day. If you’re a kind and caring person seeking a career with many opportunities to learn and grow, a move to social care could be for you.”

Marta, who joined Promedica24 with no formal experience, said she found her calling in care:

“Before starting my role, I was dipping in and out of retail jobs with no sense of purpose and I knew something was missing. Now that I work in social care, each day I wake up knowing I am doing something beneficial and worthwhile for those that need my support.

“Working in this profession gives me a lot to think about. It isn’t just a job to me – it’s a role I feel personally suited to and there are always opportunities to make an impact, no matter how big or small. I truly have found my calling here.

“If you are a kind and caring person with a willingness to go the extra mile for someone, you will make a great carer and addition to our team.”

Grzegorz Wrzosek, Recruitment Director at Promedica24, said:

“Our live-in carer roles offer many exciting opportunities for career progression and development. We welcome people to apply whether they have previous experience in care or not, as our award-winning training courses will ensure you’re fully prepared to manage the responsibilities of this role.

“No two days are the same in this vocation, so if you are looking for a varied role in which you can make a real difference, don’t hesitate to apply to join our team.”

Promedica24 is welcoming applications immediately and further information about the roles can be found here. Alternatively, you can call +44 (0) 1138 683000 or email careers@promedica24.co.uk to find out more about joining the team.
