One of the UK’s leading care groups has announced the appointment of Antony Brister as its new Chief Financial Officer.
Antony joined Aria Care Group last month to assist the group in delivering its plans for its current portfolio of homes, as well as support in the group’s future growth and development.
A qualified accountant and experienced CFO, Antony previously held senior finance roles within the hospitality industry, working with global brands including Marriott and Hilton Hotels, before moving into the social care sector in 2018, spending four years as CFO of Sunrise Senior Living and Gracewell Healthcare.
Most recently, Antony worked for an organisation which provides specialised care and education to children and adults with autism and complex behaviours, but is now excited to step back into the elderly care sector with Aria.
Throughout his career, he has focused on multi-site businesses within industry-leading organisations, making Aria the perfect fit for his skill set.
Of his appointment to Aria Care, Antony said: “I’m delighted to be returning to the elderly care sector, and being part of an organisation focused on providing great care to its residents in the best settings. The owners and senior leadership team at Aria have a real desire to grow and that is hugely appealing to me, whether through developing our own homes or through selective acquisitions as appropriate opportunities present themselves.
“Across the sector, and as I have already seen within Aria, there are great individuals who work so hard to provide residents with the very best care – I am really looking forward to getting out and about to see first-hand what we do and how I can support them personally in my leadership role and as part of the wider finance team.”
