Excelcare unveil new logo and strapline as part of an exciting brand evolution

Following a series of workshops, and a thoughtful redesign, Excelcare is proud to unveil their new look as
part of the group’s brand evolution.

The UK’s top ranked care provider for older people and people who live with dementia (based on CQC
ratings, Laing Buisson) has come a long way since CEO, Osman Ertosun, opened his first care home in
Catford, London in 1989. Today, Excelcare operates 32 care homes across the east and south-east of
England, and a Homecare service, based in Tower Hamlets and Lewisham, London.

“Over the past few years, Excelcare has grown and developed in many innovative ways.” Said Chief
Operating Officer, Sam Manning, “We do not simply see ourselves as another care provider; we are proud
to be a trusted partner to the people who live in our care homes and their families; a supportive network for
our team members; and a reliable source of help and advice for the wider community.”

Sam continued, “Our care homes each form an important part of their local communities, and our team
each play an important part in our mission – helping people to ‘belong with us’, and to enjoy a life well lived,
each and every day.”

The group’s new strapline, ‘Belong with us’ stems from Excelcare’s commitment to become a trusted
partner to the people who live and work in the care homes across the group, as well as their families. While
it is true that there is no place quite like home, the Excelcare family strive to create supportive and inclusive
environments where people can be themselves, and for loved ones to continue to create wonderful
memories together.

Although the face of Excelcare is enjoying a makeover, the core values of the group have not changed,
“We are privileged to support remarkable people.” Said Chief Executive Officer, Osman Ertosun, “People
who are cherished and loved, who have achieved, and who can continue to achieve amazing things in their
lives. We view everyone who lives in our care homes as special human beings, never ‘the elderly’ or the
conditions they are living with. These core values, which are shared across the Excelcare family, will never
change.”

To Excelcare, rebranding means more than just a new logo; these changes reflect key innovations and
improvements that have taken place across the group in recent years, from the introduction of Lessons
Learned Labs, delivered to the whole team to drive improvements across the Excelcare family, to the
launch of our new electronic care planning system, which supports the people living in Excelcare’s homes
to spend more time doing the things they love through personalised care planning.

You can expect to see elements of Excelcare’s previous branding included in their new look, but with a
modern twist. So, watch this space for further insights into Excelcare’s brand-new look
