Celebrations have been underway across the Excelcare family this week as the group were named a Top 20
Large Care Home provider in the annual Carehome.co.uk awards.
For the third consecutive year, Excelcare is delighted to be announced as a ‘Top 20 Large Care Provider’ with
an impressive average review score of 9.8/10. This review score not only cements Excelcare as one of the
highest rated care providers in the country, but also reflects the excellent care and life experiences they provide
to people.
Leading care home website, carehome.co.uk, is the largest and most used website for seeking advice and
information about care homes. Dubbed the ‘Trip Advisor’ to the care sector, carehome.co.uk provides a platform
that makes finding a suitable care home for a person easy and efficient. As well as information about care
homes, the services they provide and images of their facilities, carehome.co.uk also ranks providers with a
score out of ten, based on reviews received directly from service users and their loved ones. With a strict
verification process, this means the reviews that each home receives come directly from the people who live at
the home and their families, ensuring each review is a true representation lived experiences people have had in
a home.
This fantastic news comes at a time of growth for the company, as they recently announced an evolution in their
branding, with a new logo and strapline, ‘Belong with us’. This stems from Excelcare’s commitment to becoming
a trusted partner with people who live and work in their care homes, as well as their families. ‘Belong with us’ is
rooted in the company’s values and their focus on creating supportive and inclusive environments where people
can be themselves and create wonderful memories together.
“Securing a top 20 large provider award from Carehome.co.uk for the third consecutive year means the world to
us. Seeing all of the positive comments and high scoring reviews that our homes have achieved consistently
over the last year fills me with pride. Our average group score of 9.8 reflects this and the ongoing efforts of our
team members across the family,” said Chief Operating Officer, Sam Manning.
“Our family roots are at the heart of everything we do and we have always been true to that, so it makes it more special to see loved ones sharing positive comments about the care we provide, as It shows we are living up to their expectations and more.” Sam continued, “I would like to thank each and every member of the Excelcare family for their efforts in achieving this award. It comes at an important time of transition as we look forward to the future with our new logo and strapline, which truly showcases our values as a family-run provider. To achieve this award for the third year in a row shows the consistency and dedication of our caring teams and it fills me with pride to see their efforts recognised and rewarded.
