- Chartwell Manor, Aylesbury’s brand new £10m luxury care home, is to host an open day on 24 September, giving the community its first look at the five-star accommodation and facilities.
The 61-bed luxury care home, part of the Maria Mallaband Care Group (MMCG), is hosting the celebratory event at the home at 4 Nimrod Street, HP18 1BB on 24 September from 11 AM – 3 PM.
The local community will be welcomed in to see the brand-new £10m home for the first time, and treated to a live entertainer, mini beauty therapies, and face painting too. They will also have the opportunity to meet some of the key members of the new care home team over refreshments, including a glass of champagne for each visitor.
Guests can sample some of the chef-prepared food on offer in the home, with mini versions of a number of different menu items set to be served at the launch.
New Home Manager, Marilyn Kimayong said:
“A huge amount of investment, work, care and attention to detail has been poured into the development of Chartwell Manor, and we cannot wait to share it in-person with this community.

All 61 bedrooms in the home are ensuite, with wet rooms in larger suites. The impressive accommodation includes a variety of living areas and lounges, and a bar and bistro, all of which have been designed with relaxation and comfort in mind.
Also among the on-site features is a wellness retreat and movement room, which will host movement classes – part of MMCG’s unique and innovative lifestyle programme, More…Lifestyle, available to those moving into the home.
In the weeks and months leading up to the launch the fledgling Chartwell Manor team has been busy locally, taking part in an array of charity and community events, spreading the word about the exceptional new care home and reflecting MMCG’s ethos of high community engagement.
