Care Operator Majesticare promise all hourly paid a minimum of the Real Living Wage from January 1st ‘23

Leading boutique care operator Majesticare will pay the Real Living Wage of at least £10.90 per hour from January 1st 2023 for all hourly paid team members. This is over and above the future National Living Wage increase to £10.42 per hour which will be mandatory from April 1st 2023, as stated in the Governments Autumn statement last week.

Caren Burton, Head of People at Majesticare commented, “Implementing the Real Living Wage as we head into some of our coldest months just made perfect sense to us! It’s part of our long-term commitment that we do everything possible to support and help our teams navigate the increasing costs of living this Winter and beyond.

Majesticare are one of the now 11,000 strong list of organisations who voluntary pay a Real Living Wage. They believe that the continued hard work and dedication of their teams to care for some of society’s most vulnerable deserves a wage that meets the actual cost of living and reflects the commitment of their employees.

Finalists at the recent Employee Engagement awards, Majesticare are well recognised for their innovative and caring approach to the wellbeing of their teams. Their Values Bonus, launched in October allowed hourly paid members to earn a 10% bonus based purely on their commitment to the Majesticare Values of Happiness, Creativity, Family, Trust and Heart.
