by Kirsty Kirsty

Over the last few months, Jewish Care has conducted a rigorous recruitment process, and we are delighted to announce that we have appointed Olukemi Jeboda as our new Director of People.

Olukemi is a highly experienced Senior Human Resources professional who has worked in a variety of sectors including the charity, care and housing sectors, and will bring a wealth of knowledge, expertise, and experience to Jewish Care.

Her working experience includes over 13 years at Hyde Group, a G15 housing association and more recently as Director of People at Langley Trust. She sits on the Boards of Thames Reach Charity and Thames Reach Housing and is also a non-Magistrate member of the Judicial Office Advisory Committee.

Speaking of her appointment Olukemi said: “I’m looking forward to meeting everyone at Jewish Care and to help deliver our purpose of delivering excellent care. Supporting people is something that I am really passionate about, and I am excited to work for an organisation with values of care and respect for others.”

Our Director of Human Resources and Organisational Development, Angela Beerman will be leaving the organisation at the end of the financial year.

Jewish Care CEO, Daniel Carmel-Brown, says, “Please join me in welcoming Olukemi and in thanking Angela, not just for the enormous and significant contribution she has made to Jewish Care so far, but for being a truly outstanding and supportive colleague to so many members of staff across the organisation, who like me have benefitted from her support in that time. We wish her the best of times on her well-deserved retirement in March 2024.”
