Buying consortium partners with care consultancy to offer exclusive advice line

by Kirsty Kirsty

Spectrum Care has announced the launch of the Spectrum Advice Line – an exclusive service designed to provide its members with expert support across a wide range of care-related topics.

The buying consortium has partnered with Fulcrum Care, a leading consultancy known for its expertise in providing tailored advice on CQC regulations and operational challenges. Fulcrum’s deep understanding of care management and compliance makes it a valuable partner for this advice line, ensuring members receive exceptional support on operational efficiency and regulatory guidance, helping care homes maintain high standards and meet industry requirements effectively.

Available to all Spectrum Care members, the advice line connects care providers with Fulcrum’s industry professionals, who are equipped to assist with complex queries – from navigating regulatory requirements to implementing best practices in care delivery.

The Spectrum Advice Line covers key areas critical to the success of care facilities, including:

  • Regulatory compliance: Guidance to ensure a facility meets the necessary standards, helping providers stay on top of the latest industry regulations.
  • Care management: Expert advice on improving care delivery, managing staff and enhancing patient outcomes.
  • Operational efficiency: Strategies to optimise operations, streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
  • Training and development: Support in delivering staff training and compliance with mandatory requirements.
  • Quality assurance: Assistance in establishing and maintaining robust quality assurance programmes to continually improve care standards.

While Spectrum membership verification may be required when calling, members do not need to be Fulcrum customers to access this source. The service is free and operates from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm with only standard call charges applied depending on the caller’s phone plan.

Arif Pradhan, Chairman of Spectrum Care, shared his thoughts on launching the new service:“At Spectrum, we’re constantly seeking ways to add value to our members, providing them with resources that make a real difference in their day-to-day operations. Our partnership with Fulcrum Care represents a significant step forward in helping care providers navigate the complexities of regulatory requirements and operational challenges. The Spectrum Advice Line is designed to ensure our members have direct access to expert guidance to help them deliver the highest standards of care and maintain operational excellence.”
