A leading care home management software provider has launched a new reporting tool to help care providers access, understand and act on operational data more easily.
CoolCare has introduced Advanced Reporting, a new feature designed to bring together key operational information from across care home businesses, including occupancy, enquiries, staffing and billing – into one secure, real-time view.
A recent survey of adult social care providers found growing adoption of digital care technology, but also highlighted ongoing barriers such as lack of interoperability, difficulties visualising data and limited internal analytical capacity. These findings reinforce the need for tools that can turn raw operational data into clear, practical insight.
The Advanced Reporting feature supports this by helping providers monitor occupancy trends, enquiry conversions, staffing metrics and financial performance in one place. This gives care teams a clearer view of what is happening across their operation, helping them spot risks earlier, identify opportunities for improvement and make informed decisions with greater confidence.
The feature includes fully customisable dashboards, user-created reports and automated report distribution. Care home teams can choose from pre-made dashboards and reporting templates or build their own, ensuring the right people have access to the right information, when they need it.
Reports and dashboards can be shared with individual team members, made available across an organisation or automatically emailed to selected recipients on a user-created schedule. This means frontline managers, regional teams, finance departments and board members can each access tailored information that supports their role.
