Leading live-in care service, Promedica24, celebrates latest expansion

by Kirsty Kirsty

Europe’s largest live-in care provider, Promedica24, has announced an expansion of its support offering. The company will now be serving more areas across North Lancashire, Derbyshire and the Lake District, bringing vital care options to difficult to reach rural areas.

The latest expansion comes after another successful year, which saw Promedica24 grow their workforce of carers, despite the struggles faced by the wider social care sector. The live-in care provider has also seen its Quality Assurance Director, Paula Beaney, appointed to the Homecare Association Board.

As the only CQC-registered live-in care specialist, the expansion will mean Promedica24 can offer an alternative to residential care, to many more families across the regions. Where suitable, live-in care can be particularly valuable in rural communities, allowing people to stay in their homes and making it easier for loved ones to visit without travelling long distances.

Since its launch in 2004, Promedica24 has gone from strength to strength and this latest move by the business means that the company now provides care in over 130 locations across the UK and Europe.

In other local areas served by Promedica24, the company regularly undertakes charity initiatives, a legacy the new branches will look to continue. Recent successes include a Golf Day in Skipton to support Dementia Forward, which raised over £4500, and sponsorship of The Glamour Club initiative in Worthing to tackle social isolation.

Grzegorz Wrzosek, Country Manager at Promedica24, said:

“We are delighted to be able to expand our service offering across the North West and Derbyshire and to begin collaborating with families across the regions to find the best care plan for clients.  Our bespoke, in-home packages represent a valuable and much needed option for families looking for support for their loved ones.

“Live-in care can be hugely empowering, enabling people to stay in their own home and communities, as independently as possible but with additional support where they need it. We’re looking forward to this next chapter and being able to work with many more people in the area.”
