We’re dedicated to providing immediate financial aid through crisis grants and offering vital mental
health support. The third pillar of our work is advocating for fair treatment and pay as well as
recognition of care workers as a skilled workforce. With over £5.9 million granted to more than
10,700 care workers, 500+ individuals benefiting from mental health initiatives, and active
engagement in advocacy efforts, we’re at the forefront of ensuring care workers receive the support
they deserve. This vision is shared by Manjeet and Capital Care Group. We will work closely together
to create campaigns to raise awareness and engagement so more care workers can be supported.
Karolina Gerlich, CEO of The Care Workers’ Charity said: “We are delighted that Manjeet has
become a patron of The Care Workers’ Charity. We are looking forward to working together to
continue to fulfil our mission.”
Manjeet Rai, founder and Managing Director of Capital Care Group, said: “I’m thrilled to become a
charity patron for The Care Workers Charity, to support and contribute to the outstanding work they
do. It has been a privilege to be part of the care sector and it’s humbling to see the incredibly
dedicated and hard-working individuals that have a passion for providing vital services to the people
who need it the most, so I’m honoured to be part of a cause that helps this loyal community.
The compassion and commitment from our care providers should be recognised and through The
Care Workers Charity continued support, this will enable them to focus on the incredibly important
role they play in enriching and enhancing the lives of others.”
