Lifted Care, the care services of Lifted, an innovative technology platform in social care, has been acquired by Grosvenor Health and Social Care Group for an undisclosed sum. This success allows Lifted to focus on its rapidly growing technology solutions, Lifted Talent, an ethical international recruitment platform for the care sector, and SponsorSwitch, which supports displaced care workers in securing ethical employment within the UK.
Founded in 2018 by Rachael Crook, Lifted Care was inspired by her experience as a young carer for her mother, who was diagnosed with early-onset dementia aged 56. Lifted Care has since earned an exceptional reputation for its commitment to quality and innovation.
With 97% 5-star reviews, the company has been honoured with multiple awards, including the LaingBuisson Home Care Award and Home Care Awards in 2021. Rachael’s contributions to social care were recognised in 2021 when she was named an Obama Leader; one of only five individuals selected in the UK by Barack and Michele Obama for their impact on social change.
Darren Stapleberg, CEO of Grosvenor Health and Social Care Group, commented on the acquisition: “Lifted Care has achieved considerable success under Rachael’s leadership, setting new standards in home care through its commitment to quality and innovative practices. We are excited to build on Lifted’s achievements and support its legacy of excellent care while expanding our reach.”
Rachael Crook, CEO of Lifted, shared her thoughts: “I am delighted to see Lifted Care join the Grosvenor family, ensuring continuity of our commitment to delivering exceptional care. Lifted was founded to lift lives and transform care. Now, as we channel our focus on advancing our Lifted Talent technology platform and SponsorSwitch, we’re excited to support other care providers with solutions that ease recruitment challenges and help attract top talent globally. I am incredibly grateful to our investors, supporters, and team for backing us as we focus on this exciting new aspect of our journey.”
