A home care service is gearing up for a highly-anticipated 2025 after signing off 2024 with a number of significant milestones – as it continues its mission of enhancing lives through compassionate care.
New Age Care, which has branches across the Midlands, Yorkshire, Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire, is looking to build on a busy 12 months of activity and growth that included expanded services and increased community engagement.
Early in 2024, New Age Care expanded its reach by opening a new office in Birmingham, which has already established itself as a hub for clients and care professionals. Towards the end of the year, a new Yorkshire office represented another leap in making New Age Care’s services more accessible across the UK, and was a full-circle moment for company Director Samantha Whittaker who was born and raised in the region.
The company also solidified its leadership team with key appointments, including Nav Singh as Head of Governance and Quality Assurance, Danielle Corden as Operations Manager, and Caroline Treanor as Head of Client Experience. Each bringing invaluable expertise, the management team now has more than 40 years of combined experience in the care sector, with a strong commitment to providing personalised services that respect the unique needs of each client.
Samantha said: “2024 was a year of growth, connection, and learning. We’ve expanded our geographical reach, welcomed incredible talent to our leadership team, and continued to deepen our impact in the communities we serve. I’m proud to see how much we accomplished last year and look forward to another exciting year ahead.”
On the client side of operations,New Age Care introduced enhanced initiatives such as the Wednesday Activity Club, Sunday Lunch Club, and regular exercise classes. These programs have enriched the lives of clients and the wider community, creating opportunities for companionship and laughter.
Additionally, the regular Meet and Mingle sessions and the innovative SupportZone, launched during the 2024 Euros, showcased New Age Care’s commitment to combating loneliness, an ongoing and prevalent issue amongst the elderly population.
