Radis Community Care becomes care provider for 295 apartments

Headquartered in the Midlands, leading community care provider Radis Community Care is expanding even further across England and Wales with two new additions based in St Helens, adding to its extensive northern offerings.

The two extra care housing services offer people an alternative to conventional residential care, providing independence and the flexibility of carers who are on-site 24/7.

Radis Community Care continues to expand its services, aiming to provide care and support to as many people as possible. By teaming up with various housing providers, the services aim to help residents retain as much independence and control over their lives as possible.

As part of its latest acquisition, Radis Community Care has won the contract for two impressive services: Reeve Court Retirement Village and Heald Farm Court.

Supporting residents over the age of 55, Reeve Court Retirement Village consists of 206 one- and two-bedroom flats and is home to more than 250 residents.

Reeve Court

As a retirement village, Reeve Court has on-site care staff available 24/7, as well as a careline alarm service, prioritizing the safety and security of residents. Facilities include a lounge, laundry room, hobby and activities rooms, a bistro, a shop, a salon, a library, an IT suite, and an impressive spa, pool, and steam room.

The site is entirely wheelchair accessible, with local transport and amenities also in close proximity. All of this, combined with a dedicated housekeeping team, ensures that all residents have a comfortable living environment without the stress of maintaining a home.

Similarly, Heald Farm Court offers a variety of facilities, including a well-maintained garden and regular social activities.

Heald Farm Court

Heald Farm Court is a £14 million development, with many of its 86 two-bedroom apartments featuring their own balcony, terrace, or garden. Additionally, the development benefits from having three transitional flats supporting people who have been in hospital or respite care and are unable to return home.

Surrounded by a health and wellbeing centre and beautifully landscaped gardens, Heald Farm Court is just a short walk from the local town centre.

Sarah Brown, regional manager at Radis Community Care, commented on the exciting contract wins:

“We’re proud to be able to provide services to those who need it in St Helens and to add two more fantastic services to our care offering. Both services bring staff who are passionate about providing the highest standard of care, and we’re excited to be working with a new council and community.”
