Priory, the UK’s largest independent provider of mental health and adult social care services, have announced its acquisition of Victoria House residential service for people with serious brain injuries.

The service, which provides residential rehabilitation and neurological care for adults with long-term conditions and acquired brain injury, complements Priory’s existing portfolio and strengthens the organisation’s commitment to delivering high quality care for people across the UK.

Priory CEO Rebekah Cresswell said: “Victoria House is an excellent fit for Priory and aligns well with our purpose Live your Life, helping the people we support to live their lives as fully as possible with a better quality of life and greater independence.

“I am also pleased to welcome our new colleagues from Victoria House to Priory and wish them all well as they transition into our organisation.”

Victoria House is based in Farnborough, Hampshire, and provides medium to long-term placements in a homely environment within the local community.

With a mix of en-suite rooms, studios, and self-contained apartments, residents can explore living with greater independence while benefiting from full on-site support and access to specialist therapies.

The dedicated multidisciplinary team, supported by modern communal facilities such as a gym, practice kitchen and gardens, supports individuals to achieve greater independence, social integration and quality of life.

More than 50 colleagues from Victoria House will now join Priory, which is part of MEDIAN Group, a leading pan-European provider of mental health, specialist care and rehabilitation services.

Philipp Schulte-Noelle, MEDIAN Group CEO, said: “With the acquisition of Victoria House, we continue to progress MEDIAN Group’s growth strategy. Looking ahead as a Group, we will remain focused on acquiring assets that fit strategically among our core service areas, further expanding our network and ensuring the best possible care and support for our patients and residents.”

Colin Richards, Renovo Care Group CFO, said: “We are delighted to have found such a strong and capable partner in Priory. With the support of MEDIAN Group and Priory, we are confident that Victoria House’s services and our dedicated teams will continue to flourish. We extend our sincere thanks to our employees and partners for their unwavering commitment over the years, and we look forward to this next chapter with optimism for its success.”
