The new Home Manager at Brook House in Towcester is looking forward to developing the team, welcoming the first residents and their families in October and building up links with the local community.
Bogdan Gancean trained as a nurse in Romania and has also lived and worked in Italy. He has degree in Psychology and experience in mental health care as well as managing nursing and residential services.
Bogdan said, “I enjoy the challenges care home life can present and take my responsibilities very seriously, striving to maintain a safe and happy environment, promote great care and make a positive difference to all of our residents’ lives. I like the fact that Caring Homes is still a family run business with strong values on care quality and continuous improvement.”

Bogdan said, “Brook House is a state-of-the-art new home with beautiful grounds, activities and facilities. We have a high calibre chef to provide the best mealtime experiences and a fantastic Customer Relationship Advisor to help support you though your care journey,
“There is already an enthusiastic and compassionate team working here with me to deliver the highest standards of residential, dementia, nursing and palliative care and I will be aiming for the very best as we recruit and develop the team here. This is an ongoing process but to be in at the very start of that process is a dream for a Home Manager.
“I will be a familiar face out on the floor at Brook House and will be doing shifts providing care for our residents, I believe in maintaining strong relationships between residents and their relatives and understand the important contribution that these relationships, in conjunction with the relationships that are made with myself and my team, make to the successful running of a care home.”
Brook House caters for all care types and the team are there to help you to be sure what type of care you, or your loved one, is looking for now or for the future.
“Everyone who comes to live at Brook House is individual and we understand that care needs will be as individual as they are,” added Bogdan, who lives close to Brook House with his young family.
“I enjoy seeing families getting involved in care home life and we will be running regular events here and building good relationships with the community.”
