Optimo Care Group (“Optimo”) is pleased to announce the acquisition of Spectra Care Limited (“Spectra Care” or “the Company”).
Based in Essex, Spectra Care is a supported living provider, established in 2019 by Suzie Qureshi. Over the years, Spectra Care has developed into a leading provider in the Essex region, renowned for its high-quality services and dedicated team. The company employs dedicated skilled teams who deliver essential services to a number of younger adults with learning disabilities and autism. Spectra Care’s commitment to person-centred care aligns perfectly with Optimo’s core values and vision.
Spectra Care operates a portfolio of supported living units across Ilford and Chigford, including Jasmine Lodge, Orchid Manor, Primrose Place, Bluebell House, and Sage House – all of which form part of the acquisition.
Optimo Care Group will be retaining all current Spectra Care staff members, ensuring continuity of care and stability for the service users. The company also plans to further expand the team to accommodate the anticipated growth in services, reflecting Optimo’s dedication to providing exceptional care and support.
Optimo supports thousands of people across the UK with a variety of complex and specialist support needs. Split across three core divisions, Supported Living for younger adults with learning Disabilities and Autism, Specialist Care for younger adults with specialist support needs, and Elderly Homecare for those who require support in their own homes.
With this acquisition, Optimo Care Group strengthens its position as one of the leading care providers in the UK. The Group comprises multiple subsidiaries, supporting thousands of individuals and employing over 1,400 people across the UK.
Optimo is now aiming to double its revenues over the next two years. Its progress follows on from the group forming two divisions, Supported Living & Specialist Care and Homecare, 18 months ago to create a better structure for its growth plans.
The sale was facilitated by DC Care.
